We had a wonderful year in ministry.
The Greater Long Beach Chapter had 27 5-Day Clubs this
summer where over 503 children heard the Gospel and 72 children received
Christ! From September to November 2007, we shared
the Gospel with over 1947 children in our Greater Long Beach area.
These cities include Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Dominguez,
Lakewood,
Long Beach, Norwalk, Seal Beach, Signal Hill and Sunset Beach.
There are three After-School Good News Clubs going on with five
more clubs waiting to begin in January.
It has been an exciting year.
We have two new staff members, Joy Scott, Bookkeeper and Leona
Jackson, Ministry Assistant and we’ve have had the opportunity to
exhibit our bookstore and share our ministry literature in many new
locations.
We have also had the
privilege of having our dear former Missionary Directors, Jan Fedde and
Claudia Arellanes, on hand to continue ministry through teacher
training, workshops, conferences and a variety of areas including
teaching Good News Clubs. Shown on the right are

Coordinator also continues training teachers and translating materials
so that we can reach even further into the communities.
The Christmas season brings
us so much joy remembering the reason we minister through
Child Evangelism Fellowship. Indeed we are
reminded of “The Reason for the Season” daily. As we
think on the faithfulness of our Lord to humble Himself we are also
reminded of your faithfulness to pray and financially
support CEF Greater Long Beach Chapter.
