Our training sessions are intended to maximize our time together. Session #1
will be an overview of two lessons in a series with particular emphasis on
concepts that need to be explained to the children. It would be beneficial
and we highly recommend that prior to the demonstration you review the
lesson or the scripture passage to be presented. This advance preparation
will enable you to have questions ready regarding the lessons, songs,
concepts etc.
Session #2 will be either extra Holiday Ideas, or our Party Club
presentation. We will demonstrate the Party Club Kits at least one month
before the holiday. It is our hope that this will greatly assist your
ministry with ideas and helps.
ABOUT AFTER-SCHOOL GOOD NEWS CLUBS
(AS-GNC) AS-GNC are Bible classes that children may attend, with parent
permission, once a week after school hours on school grounds. The purpose of
AS-GNC is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ, establish
(disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian
living. To accomplish this goal, each club includes strong discipleship
teaching to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth.
It is an excellent opportunity for children to hear the Gospel and learn the
truth from God’s Word. Each week the volunteer teachers present an exciting
Bible lesson using colorful visuals with a clear presentation of the Gospel
and an opportunity for chil- dren to trust Jesus as Savior.. This fun time
includes songs, Scrip- ture memory, mission story , review games or other
activities focused on the lesson’s theme.
WILL YOU HELP? Our vision is to take the gospel to every school. To achieve
this goal we need many volunteers. If you would like to know more about how
you can get involved in this exciting ministry, call the Cristina McConnell,
Missionary Director at 562-822-9865 or email
ceflbdirector@aol.com.

Praying Friends Needed
Now for our after School Good News Clubs and
holiday Party Clubs! Call our office for details! We recognize that all things are established by God's Hand; His work done His way requires prayer for our Lord's guidance and direction. There are so many children yet to hear the Gospel. The children in the Good News Clubs have so many prayer requests. This school year over 5,000 children heard the Gospel through Good News Clubs and outreaches in homes, community centers and Public Schools!
Will you commit to praying for us at least once a week and/or gathering two or three friends to pray in unison, not necessarily face to face but at specific preplanned periods.
Today, please pray specifically for our financial situation, open doors at Good News Clubs in this fall both in homes, community centers and Public Schools. Also for our staff's health and wisdom in decisions.
If you agree to join us as part of our prayer team, please email our Prayer Team Coordinator, LaVonne Gunderson at cefprayertem@aol.com or call us at 562-866-180 and let us know so that LaVonne can be sure to send you our weekly Good News Club prayer list by email or U.S. mail.
Thank you for your partnership!;
